We spent Labor Day weekend in Salt Lake City. We had hoped to stay at Logoon in our RV, but their RV park was full with as short of notice as we gave. So we found a spot in an RV park in Draper (far from Lagoon) and spent time visiting family there nearby us.
Lainey was FINALLY tall enough to ride the big rides! The 48" or taller rides anyway, which is almost all of them. She is very adventurous and rode a lot of rides happily that Ashton was not so keen on. We were "those" parents who waited patiently in line forever only to have our son panick at the last minute and not want to go on the ride. So we made him. Not my proudest moment. But in my defense he was happy he did it once it was over.
We ate dinner near my brother, Devan's house at Tepanyaki Japanese Steakhouse. The kids loved the chef's performance of cooking the meal at our table and tossing food around, including a shot of shrimp into each of our mouths! It was super good food too.
The crew decided to get some some and fresh air and hike the Thousand Springs trail.
