Disney Cruise Day 9

Day 9

We woke up early the last morning to be able to check out and head to breakfast on time.  At breakfast, our servers made napkin hats one last time- Minnie Mouse and Peter Pan.

Lainey actually lost her first tooth during this breakfast!  The servers told her that losing a tooth on the Disney Cruise meant that Tinkerbell would be her tooth fairy!  Even if she had to follow her all the way home!  (Lainey actually lost her second tooth the very next day at home!)

You can see in the above picture that her other bottom front tooth is ready- it was so loose it was flopped over.

We were picked up outside the port by a limo!  I don't remember booking a limo, the service was supposed to bring a minivan according to my records.  But it was the same price so we didn't complain!  It was my first time in a limo!  (The kids too.)

And we were off to the airport.   It was such a great time.  We loved it and would definitely do it again!

Disney Cruise Day 8

DAY 8

The final full day of our cruise (day 7) was a great day at Castaway Cay- Disney's private island.  The kids played at the island kids club for an hour while Todd and I got a couples massage in a cabana at Serenity Bay.

Then we got the kids and played on the island.  There was thunder for a while and some dark clouds on the north half of the sky.  Luckily it passed within an hour or so and we could have fun in the water and do what we wanted again.  Regardless, it was always really warm and comfy weather.  Lunch on the island was delicious!

Brielle's solution for hanging her sunglasses...

Funky cartwheels and handstands... and sandy bums...

Headed out for smoothies.

Onto the dock, headed up the slide.

After the water slide we went and rented some beach toys- a water trike and a paddle boat.

Back on the boat, we went straight to the pool deck for more swim fun... and for all you can eat ice cream cones...

Such an impressive ventriloquist on the boat!

Lainey and a daughter of the family sitting with us asked for "nothing" for dessert.  The other girl was brought a plate that spelled out the word "nothing" in chocolate syrup, but Lainey had asked obnoxiously saying she wanted Nooooooooooooo and never finishing with the rest of the word.  So our server brought her this:

A picture with our main server and drink server as well as the mother and daughters we sat with.  Sure had fun with all of them that week!

Had to snap a picture with Corey, one of my dad's closest friends whose whole family happened to be on our same cruise!  It really is a small world!

After dinner we packed up and put our luggage outside our state room to be taken by the servicemen to where we would disembark the ship the next morning.  Once we were done and had the kids in bed, Todd and I went off one more time to the theater, this time to watch the new movie, "Million Dollar Arm".  Bet you can't guess what we often do at home after the kids' bed time!  Movies!  Sure made the ship feel like home to be able to do that any night we wanted!
