Flag Football

This year I seem to have signed Ashton up for two sports going on at the same time.  I don't remember doing that, but the coaches from both soccer AND flag football called giving us schedules.  Combining all of that with Brielle's soccer and the various other things they have going on like gymnastics and piano made for a very HECTIC month of April.  But Ashton did enjoy both sports.  Mom, on the other hand, I have to say I'm not as entertained by flag football.  It's so slow and few people are in on the action on any given play.  I like basketball and soccer better!

Spring Soccer

Brielle and Ashton both played soccer this Spring.  They've both gotten much more aggressive than they were last year.  Todd offered a small monetary reward for any goals made.  This especially motivated Ashton.  His skill level miraculously improves ten fold upon bringing money into the occasion.  :)  He scored an average of 2 goals every game- except of course the only game I brought my camera to.  Brielle also scored a handful of goals!

Brielle's cousin, Kya in the orange socks.

With her buddies from the team- minus Ella, who was sick that day.

Ashton with his buddies from the team- minus Tanner who was gone that day.

We caught the end of Cousin Cam's soccer clinic after Ashton's game, and watched for a while.

Easter

Easter was a beautiful day.  It dropped 20 degrees the next night, so we barely got a great day for it!  It was Stake Conference.  Here's our Easter pick upon getting back home from Conference:

The egg dying the day before:

Easter afternoon was spent at Todd's mom's house for a dinner and an egg hunt.

Bubble time!

It also happened to be their cousin, Makya's Birthday!  So her mom had cake there for everyone.

My beautiful sister-in-law and niece.

Watching cartoons and eating candy.

Ashton was fascinated with his new baby cousin.

Outside reading the jokes off of their Starburst wrappers...

A few minutes of play time before heading home.
