After CrossFit, the Friday before Christmas, we invited our cousins, Camden and Drew to decorate gingerbread houses with us. My sister-in-law, Katrina was super helpful and I appreciated her being there. This is one of my favorite fun Christmas traditions!
This little bug just makes me smile!
The true purpose of decorating gingerbread houses is getting a sugar overload!
Todd wasn't able to make one- he spent
much of the day downloading songs for that evening's Stake Youth Dance.
It's their fanciest youth dance of the year and the leaders try really
hard to make it special for them with tons of decorating and really nice
refreshments, etc. He spent a few days down at the Stake Center
setting up Christmas trees and tables and things. The Stake leaders for
the young men and young women are the ones who decorate that one and
put it on where the wards usually take turns putting on the other dances
of the year.
