This week was a big week for Heart 'N Home and especially for Todd, as a "Hospice Hero" of his was coming to visit them. Andrew Reed, famed #1 Hospice CFO in the country, and world renowned hospice expert came with his camera equipment and assistant to film Heart 'N Home staff doing their visits, their jobs, and interviewing them about their experiences on the job in hospice. The things they filmed will be used to train new employees and also to promote their company to prospective employees.

Todd has spent countless hours over the years on the phone consulting with Andrew Reed and hob-knobbing with him at the many hospice conventions across the country that Andrew Reed has spoken at. He's a hospice genius and an incredible individual. The film they got with his help will be very beneficial to their company in teaching the kind of quality care they expect.

By the end of 3 days, Andrew had paid some very high compliments. He actually said Heart 'N Home was the very best hospice he had ever worked with. Their employees said things that moved him to tears. Their platform, their mission, their expectations, their innovation, and the passion throughout their company won raving reviews from him over and over again. It was incredibly rewarding for Todd and his partners to hear such praise from someone who was qualified to give it. He has worked with over 750 hospices throughout his career.
Thursday evening, I joined Todd, Kris, Amber, and Cindy in taking Andrew and his film assistant, Jason out to dinner. We had a wonderful visit. I enjoyed getting to know someone I'd heard SO much about over the years.
