Michael Bublé

In August, Todd and I had a special date night.  We went to see Michael Bublé in concert in Boise.  We first met up with a small group of friends at Olive Garden for Melissa McCammon's birthday dinner, and had a blast visiting with all of them.

I had heard the name, Michael Bublé before, but didn't really know his music until Glen Beck mentioned him on his show a year or more ago.  Glen Beck said his concert was the best he'd ever been to.  Intrigued, Todd and I downloaded some of his songs and instantly fell in love with his style of music.  Still, I wondered how this guy could give such an impressive concert.  Especially alone- no back up singers even.

What no one mentioned, was that this guy is a comedian.  He had the audience rolling in laughter all night.  He had us in tears a few times too.  I loved how in the end he sang a song totally acapella and it echoed and boomed through the whole areana.  He incorporated a lot of Boise and its highlights in his content.  Outside of a few crude jokes (in my opinion), he did a phenomenal job.  Such a talented individual.
The concert was an absolute thrill.

(I got his pics off the Internet since my camera wasn't allowed into the auditorium.)
