Friday, the 10th was the Nutcracker Ballet at the Morrison Center in Boise. Brielle and I look forward to it all year. It's our favorite, annual, Mother-Daughter-Date. This year we went with several friends. We took Brielle's cousin, Makya with us. And 3 of my friends, Allison, Melissa P., and Melissa S. came who also brought several girls. We all ate dinner at Olive Garden, watched the ballet, had chocolate truffels and a cookie for refreshments, and got a souvenier ballerina Christmas ornament.
I love the Nutcracker Ballet. The girlie girl in me loves to dress up fancy and do something formal or refined. This is the fanciest event I attend every year and I love seeing the ladies in elegant evening gowns and little girls in their Christmas dresses. I actually really like the ballet. It's so graceful and pretty. And how those ballerinas lift their leg to their head with no hands and hold it... is beyond me. I'm dazzled by their strength and poise. But my favorite part of all is the music. I could listen to that live orchestra without seeing anything all night and be totally satisfied. It was beautiful.
Brielle, Makya, and I at home about to leave.

Allison and I. She's awesome. She is a fantastic yoga instructor in the area and also does CrossFit with me. I've done her yoga class and loved it. I highly recommend it if you live in the area!
Everyone at the Morrison Center.
