We woke up this morning to a rather unusually pink hue in the lawn. The Fruitland High School Cheerleaders flock people's yards with their pink flamingos for a fundraiser. They leave a note on the door offering to retrieve the birds for a donation, which they will shortly thereafter come back for. An added incentive being that you get to choose which lawn they visit next. I'm wondering if they've tried to come back a few times since we were out in McCall for 4 days (we got back late last night). I'm not sure when they brought them here. But from the sound of a couple "high suspect" friends' blogs I'm assuming it hasn't been too long. =) The kids think it's about as cool as the first snow fall every year!
