Our family joined some freinds for our ward's annual leaf raking service activity. We raked the leaves of our neighbors that live a field away. They just had a baby and have huge mature trees that leave a lot of leaves over a bunch of lawn. Running on low sleep, we thought they might like to have one less thing to worry about. We also raked the lawn of an elderly lady in our ward and the home of an elderly couple in our ward. Just three country homes' lawns took the whole morning and much of the afternoon! My back wouldn't take past noon so I let Todd and the kids finish up. But I enjoyed it while I was able. Here's the kids playing in the leaves:
