I was so shocked when Brielle said she wanted to run Cross Country. When I was her age, you couldn't ever make me run for "fun". But Grandpa became the coach and that gave it extra appeal. She and her cousins and several friends all signed up for it. She got better and better each race and felt like a good little runner by the end!
