True to our promise, when the kids ran/biked/swam 100 miles, we took them to Roaring Springs!
After that, with hopes to visit my parents in Alaska, we made a deal with the kids that if they ran/biked/swam 300 miles, we would take a trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa Foster in Alaska. This was very motivating because none of them remembered the last time we were there...
