I never had braces as a kid. My teeth weren't bad, but just crooked enough that it always bothered me. The front stray tooth would always leave a awkward glare in my school pictures, etc. They've gotten worse over time. I don't like how crowded they've gotten and how the very front teeth have especially gotten a lot worse over the years.
I actually went to an Invisiline dentist in Nampa 4 years ago about the same time we were dickering with the bank on a loan for building our house. I got the dental pre-scans done and everything, was on my way to their clinic to sign and to pay for it and go forward with having the trays made when the bank called and said they would only approve our loan if we paid $5000 more down. Which was almost the same amount of the cost of Invisiline. So I turned around and went home.
My dentist in town knew I really wanted it and had toyed with the idea of getting certified in Clear Correct (same things as Invisiline). He finally did it and needed a guinea pig patient to test it out on at only his cost of the supplies. He asked if I would be interested since my teeth are a good candidate for it (it's for mild misallignments), and of course I was interested. For about a 5th of the cost, I am finally correcting my smile!
In the dentist chair with my new glossy trays in!
Not my most flattering look...
