Preschool Easter Party

This year the weather was really nice on Easter.  I felt like I got a sunburn, the sun was so hot.  But I didn't.  Normally the Easter party is held at the school.  But weather permitting, it was held at the park.  I enjoyed socializing with other parents while Lainey played with her buddies until they started the hunt.

Getting their instructions for the Easter egg hunt.

Lainey's cousin.

Her cousin.

Below, is Lainey with her teacher.  We LOVE her!  She has been so amazing with our three children.  I love helping out down there if for no other reason, so I can witness her with the other kids.  She KNOWS these kids.  She get's how to teach each one on a very individual level.  I can't even put it into words.  The aggressive boy with a rough home get's 10 minutes every day to go punch on a blown up sand bottom punching bag and one get's to play a "guess-what-animal-I-am-pretending-to-be-today" game and one is super shy and brings 2 show and tells and several learn physically so they do gymnastics sight words and abc's and counting.  Everything they bring to show and tell is a counting lesson, a spelling lesson, a seasons lesson, on and on.  The whole two hour class is so phenomenally interactive and catered to each child that they all feel satisfied and do whatever she tells them to do with the up-most respect.  They love her.  WE love her.  With Lainey graduating this year, I'll be sad not to have more children to bring to her class and see how awesome she is all the time.
